Job Description
S/he is responsible for implementing sales plans and marketing activity, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. S/he is also expected to maintain presentation as directed by the Global brand office guidelines
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
• Display excellent customer services skills to the team.
• Communicate the customer service objective to Managers and Artists.
• Quickly and effectively resolve customer issues.
2. Sales:
• Implement and achieve sales plan by location and review with the Retail Manager. Monitor results and take remedial action on an immediate and on-going basis.
• Work with Training and Retail Managers to achieve productivity targets in each location.
• Review staff rotations to ensure optimum coverage at peak customer traffic times so as to maximize sales.
3. Business Management :
• Preside over all new store openings.
• Monitor in-store expenses (e.g., returns, testers).
• Direct the development of special projects (required).
4. Inventory:
• Monitor stock levels (minimums and maximums) in constant conjunction with Retail Manager to ensure optimum coverage while minimizing excess.
• Make recommendations regarding excess stock to National Sales Manager.
• Ensure monthly orders are managed within guidelines provided by National Sales Manager.
5. Merchandising:
• Train Retail Manager to uphold merchandising expectations and develop standard of visual excellence.
• Work with Managers to achieve highest standards of merchandising, display and counter hygiene.
• Monitor merchandising by location to ensure adherence to standards.
• Ensure maintenance follow-up and that forms and requests are being submitted in a timely, accurate manner.
6. Marketing & Events:
• Plan marketing calendar by location in consultation with the Marketing department and within standards outlined by Global Marketing and Retail Events.
• Ensure proper anniversary dates of marketing activity.
• Ensure all collateral/props used at counter are within guidelines provided by Marketing/Training Departments.
• Train Retail Manager to assist with event implementation.
• Attend events.
7. Human Resources:
• Recruit Retail Managers and assist with Artist recruitment as required to meet brand standards of creative ability, customer service excellence and business success.
• Provide on-going training to empower Retail Manager to run his/her business.
• Coach Retail Managers to develop and motivate teams.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback on a regular basis to Retail Manager and retail staff on his/her job performance.
• Provide an atmosphere that motivates, encourages and challenges Retail Managers and staff to achieve excellence.
• Review, approve and conduct performance reviews for region.
• Conduct progressive discipline and terminations in consultation with affiliate group personnel.
8. Retailer Relationships:
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with retail partners, updating them regularly on new initiatives and following up on team performance.
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum high school education, college background
preferred.
Job-Related Experience: Previous experience in cosmetic field preferred. Specialty
store management background a plus. Leadership,
training, public speaking experience needed.
Job Related Experience: Five years retail experience, cosmetic preferred, one-two
years management experience required.
Analytical/Interpretive Skills: Training and coaching new and existing employees.
Ability to resolve employee conflicts and to function in
a fast paced environment. Embrace the brand’s

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, leadership and organizational
skills. Comfortable managing and supervising people.
